Thomas Filios’s interest, in the scenery that alternates between hills and valleys, existed since his youth. He constantly tried to see behind the hill; he always climbed up a tree in order to look beyond that.  He studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Ioannina and there he discovered that he could communicate beyond speech, through images which he could create by photographing.

He is a self-taught photographer; he has attended and organized himself a number of photography seminars. Some of his photographs have been published in magazines, newspapers and covers of music CDs by ECM Records. He has organized personal photograph exhibitions and has published the album “Aesthetic Wandering in North Pindos” containing 40 black-and-white photographs.

He has been photographing for more than 20 years and is currently living in a town in northern Greece from where he can serve his photographic purposes better. He works as a Computer teacher in Secondary Education.

Thomas now spends much of his time teaching students skills in photography, as well as post-processing in Photoshop and Lightroom. This website was created to share easy-to-use presets to help the general public with the results of their photography – to help process beautiful images, or simply to save some time in the process.
